I have been a fan of D&AD ever since their conception. Far from being another "luvvie" organization trying to glorify their own troops, D&AD have brought real talent, ground-breaking campaigns and a touch of flair to the international circuit for quite some time now. Is all that about to change?
For those of you who are unfamiliar with D&AD (Shame on you!!) you can play catch-up at the following address (http://www.dandad.org/). Eagerly anticipated is the D&AD round-up of the best creative campaigns all rolled into one handy volume each year (and pictured above in its carbon-friendly glory). I strongly recommend that you obtain the wonderful TASCHEN release (http://www.taschen.com/) along with all the previous editions(if you can still find the coveted titles) for a historic and inspirational look into the world of advertising and creative communication around the globe, as judged by a veritable expert in the field.
